Celebrating the Artistic Achievements of Our Students
Holy Angels’ Girls’ College held a special event on the 4th of March to celebrate the achievements of its artistic and talented students. The program was organized to recognize and appreciate students who participated in an art competition (Earth 01 Foundation) conducted by Japan. The event was honoured by delegates of japan Mr.Kato Toshihisa, Mr.Hashimato junya, Mr.Ohasi takeesha who attended as representatives connected with the competition. During the ceremony, certificates were awarded to students in recognition of their artistic talents and for their enthusiastic participation in the competition.
The celebration became more vibrant and lively with traditional Sri Lankan dance performances presented by the students. In addition, the Japanese guests shared several interesting presentations, which introduced aspects of Japanese culture and adding a unique cultural experience to the program. The event concluded successfully, highlighting the creativity and talent of the students of Holy Angels’ Girls’ College and strengthening the spirit of cultural exchange and appreciation.
The Commerce Day of Holy Angels Girls' College was held on 11th October 2024 under the theme of " සුරදු සුරතින් වාණිජ්යයට" The Manager of Leslie Agro product entrepreneur Mr. Leslie Perera participated as the chief guest and he delivered a pragmatic lecture for 30 minutes.
Parallel to The Commerce Day a series of competitions were conducted in grade 10 and 11.The students of grade 9,10, and 11 took part as the participants of The Commerce Day. Increasing the number of commerce learners was one of the major goal of The Commerce Day 2024.
The dancers ,singers and actresses of grade 12 C were able to fascinate the audience by their talents.
The students of grade 12 C successfully conducted The Commerce Day under the guidance of the teachers of the section.
Teachers' Day & childrens' Day Celebration of Kuli/Holy Angels Girl's College was ceremoniously held in 1st of October. A variety of items were organized by the students to make it a memorable day.
The Buddhist Society of Kuli/ Holy Angels Girls college had organized a Kavi Bana sermon and Poson Bathi Gee programme conjunction with the celebration of Poson poya . The teachers and the students participated for Bhakthi gee under the guidance of the school music unit.
Rev. Sr Maria Goreththi who served as the 7th principal of Kuli/Holy Angels Girls' College from 2021 to 2024, is retiring today. We highly appreciated your dedication on development of our school. We wish you good health and a happy retirement. God Bless you dear Sister !!
