Suradu Awurudu 2024

Suradu Awurudu was held on April 10th 2024 . Although our school is a catholic school, all Sinhala and Tamil rituals were organized and celebrated by the organizing committee. And the students from Grade 6-13  participated for different events recalling our cultural characteristics.

The scouts of our school participated for the National Scouting Jamboori which held at Trincomalee.

The prize giving of Holy Angels Girls' College "Suradu Abhiman" was held on December 21st, 2023 at the Kuliyapitiya Town Hall. The Zonal Educational Director Mrs. Bandulani Basnayaka was participated as the Chief guest. Our school web site "www.hagc.edu.lk" was launched on the same day.

Our daughter Janani Dhananjana Wickramasinghe who won the Silver medal from Asian Youth Para Olympic Sports Festival was offered a scholarship for free Online Education  from APEX Online Institute. The Color awarding ceremony was held on Dec 18th 2023 . This ceremony was organised by Health & Sports Section at Provincial Education  Department. The Chief Guest was the Honorable Governor  Mr. Laxman Yapa Abeywardhana. Our Zonal Director MRS. Bandulani Basnayake and  Principal Sr. W.M.G. Fernando participated representing the zone and the school. Our Health and Sport teachers Mrs. W. Deepika Abeyrathne and Mrs. D.N.D. Agalawaththa , our Principal sister and the coach Mr. Nalinda Senerath were also awarded by the governor for guiding and practising Janani for her victory .
